Make your own mask
Run mask-making workshops and keep your class busy in an original way.
Teachers, youth workers, educators, nursery staff, childminders: run workshops with children of all ages. Making and personalising a mask appeals to little ones and big ones alike.
A mask is a great way to start a themed workshop (forest animals, Halloween, carnival, Christmas) and turn it into a fun, creative activity.
Running a mask workshop
- Choose one or more masks and print as many templates as there are children: buying one template lets you print it for the whole group.
- Use thick paper (160–250 g/m²) for sturdy masks.
- Have round-tip scissors, glue sticks or tape, colouring pencils or felt pens, and one elastic band per mask ready.
- Younger children cut along the big lines and colour; an adult handles the fine cuts and the eyes.
A costume party?
There’s always a friend who throws a costume party at the last minute. Choose, print and make the one-of-a-kind mask nobody else will have… even the night before.
